NEW DELHI: The CBI has filed a chargesheet against two accused — autorickshaw driver Lakhan Verma and his accomplice Rahul Verma — in the alleged murder of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand, officials said on Wednesday. Both are in judicial custody. CCTV footage showed that the judge was jogging on one side of a fairly wide road on July 28 when an autorickshaw hit him from behind and fled the scene. After the case was handed over to it, the CBI sent had a 20-member probe team under V K Shukla, who was recently awarded by the home ministry for being among the best investigators.
