Riteish Deshmukh enjoys a massive fan following on his Instagram handles especially due to his adorable and amusing reels on Instagram. The actor who was earlier an active TikTok user says that he felt being momentarily ‘unemployed’.
In an interview with a news portal, the actor revealed how they started making short videos on TikTok during the lockdown and ease everyone’s mood. “It started during the lockdown and it was a time when everyone went through tough times and we thought, ‘Let’s give them a reason to smile”.
He then shared that he started with TikTok and when they banned TikTok, he joked about being momentarily unemployed and felt — ‘Oh God, abhi kya karoon main? Jo kaam tha woh toh chala gaya.’ Reels aa gaya, maine kaha, ‘Chalo, Reels hi sahi’ (I thought, ‘Oh God, what do I do now? I have no work anymore.’ When Reels was introduced, I was glad),” he added with a laugh.
On the work front, Riteish will be next seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy film ‘Kakuda’ with Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem.
